Consumer confidence improves—but Ukrainians expect prices to grow

From April to June 2007, the mood of Ukrainian consumers improved. Over this period, the Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) rose 4.6 points, to 96.9. This is a record high for the index since April 2006. Still, a CCI value below the 100-mark shows that the majority of Ukrainians continue to feel pessimistic.
